The app
WordMend is a word game published by MAQIR, LLC. By downloading or using WordMend, you agree to these terms, along with the terms of the App Store or Google Play, whichever you got it from. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use WordMend on devices you own or control. It is a license to use the app, not a sale of it. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the app, or use it for anything unlawful. If you break these terms, the license ends.
In-app purchases
WordMend Plus and the Cosmetic Bundle are optional one-time purchases that unlock extra themes, tile styles, app icons, and word packs. Tips are voluntary and unlock nothing; they simply say thanks. All purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their policies, so please request a refund through the store you bought from. Purchases are tied to your App Store or Google Play account and can be restored on your other devices through that store.
Your content
Your settings and scores stay on your device, and we claim no rights to them. If you connect Game Center or Google Play Games, the scores and awards you post there are also subject to Apple's or Google's terms. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Our property
The WordMend app, name, logo, and design belong to MAQIR, LLC. Your license does not give you any ownership of them, and you may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.
Updates
We may release updates that add, change, or remove features. Some may install automatically, depending on your device settings. We are not obligated to keep supporting older versions of the app or older versions of iOS, iPadOS, or Android.
No warranty
WordMend is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind. We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not promise it will be free of interruptions or errors. Leaderboards and awards are provided by Apple and Google, and we cannot guarantee their availability.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAQIR, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for WordMend, if anything, in the six months before the claim. You agree to hold MAQIR, LLC harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the app or your violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date at the top. Continuing to use WordMend after a change means you accept the updated terms.
