The short version
WordMend is made by MAQIR, LLC. It is a word game, and it does not need to know who you are. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no tracking, in the app or on this website. Your settings and scores stay on your device.
What WordMend stores
Your settings, best scores, game in progress, and which Extras you have unlocked are stored only on your phone or tablet. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them. If you use a device backup, this data is included in that backup under Apple's or Google's protections, not ours.
Game Center and Google Play Games
Game Center (and Google Play Games on Android) is off until you tap Connect in Settings. Once connected, WordMend posts your scores and awards to Apple's or Google's service so they can show leaderboards and achievements. Those services handle your player profile under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your Apple or Google account details. Tap Disconnect at any time to stop WordMend using them.
Purchases
Extras and tips are optional in-app purchases handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your name, email address, or payment details. The store tells the app what you have unlocked, and that is stored on your device.
This website
playwordmend.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use it only to reply and to help with your question, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or CCPA give you the right to access, correct, or delete personal information a company holds about you. WordMend holds none: your data lives only on your device, and you can delete it at any time by removing the app. For anything you have sent us by email, contact us and we will delete it. We do not sell personal information.
Children's privacy
WordMend does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Nothing a child does in the game is sent to us.
Changes to this policy
If we change how WordMend handles your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is material, we will also call it out in the app's release notes.
