Beat the clock: faster solves score higherMend the word: the scrambled tiles RAIN become BRAIN for 492 points

How to play

Unscramble the tiles. Mend the word.

You can learn it in one round. Then you will want just one more.

  1. 1

    Five words are dealt

Each game deals five scrambled words, four to eight letters long. The first one is waiting the moment you tap Play.

  2. 2

    Slide the tiles home

Drag each tile to its spot, one at a time. Each one is marked with a check when it lands in the right place.

  3. 3

    Beat the clock

Every word is worth 100 points a letter, and the clock eats into that. Solve faster, keep more.

Scoring

Simple to learn. Hard to perfect.

4–8

letters per word

A five-letter word starts at 500 points. Need a nudge? A Clue reveals the next letter: the first costs 30 points, and each further clue in the same word costs 15 more than the last. A perfect game of five words is the score to chase.

Five words. Every second counts.

Each word's points and time sit beside it, so you can see exactly where the seconds went. Stuck? A clue gives away the next letter for a few points.
